Caroline Hoskin
CAROLINE HOSKIN artist lives and works with John Broadbent in the last windmill in Norwich.
Born in the West Country, daughter of John Hoskin, sculptor. As a child, brought up by innkeeper grandparents. Early on, some generous teachers helped her dyslexia into speed-reading the Victorian classics
Studied at Reigate Art College and Harvard.
Hitchhiked to San Francisco, married in Las Vegas. Lived London, lent a Hampstead studio; communal house in Lancaster; Birmingham; Norwich — large shed in garden as a studio; for the last 20 years a circular studio on the second floor of the mill. Two children.
